I was delighted to find out that my friend Lisa is in town! I met up with her and some of my other pals at the trendy Underbar in the W Hotel Union Square. Lots of beautiful people trying to be seen holding expensive drinks.

One of the best things about my job are the holiday hours. Whenever there is a holiday, we get it off (except Columbus Day, dirty bastards!), and if it's a weekend holiday we get a half-day Friday. Today was no exception! When the clock struck one p.m., we were OUTTA there. McGee's is two short blocks away, I can't believe I've never been there before. $3.50 Heineken! Nice! I'll be going there all the time now.
