Woo Belmont! I trekked out to watch the Belmont Stakes, and it was such a blast! 100,000 plus people all rooting for horses...um, that was fun, but the best part was the giant tail gate party that took place on the lawn in front of the track. So fun! It was too bad Smarty Jones lost, but it didn't ruin my day. I lost $2 on him, though. Boo.

I got a last-minute offer to go to a No Doubt show out in Jersey, so I took it! Then it was a question of getting out to the PNC Bank Arts Center way out in Holmdel. After a few subway transfers, a train, and a shuttle, my little group and I arrived at the concert around 8:15, two hours after we'd left Manhattan...and No Doubt had already been playing for 15 minutes! Damn Co-Headlining tours! blink-182 went on second that night. After the concert, it was another two hour trip home. But DAMN! No Doubt was so awesome.

It is a gorgeous day today, so I decided to go out and enjoy it. I walked all over the place, culminating in a nice two hours in Central Park on a blanket. Of course, this perfect weather won't last - they're saying it's going to rain tomorrow. Boo!
